I am organising a charity event for The Isabel Hospice and am writing to ask if you would be prepared to support it, either by coming along, or by making a small donation to support it.
There are full details on BigBlackHen.com’s Facebook page (link below) and the attached flyer but basically it is called Wacky Races and is a bed/pram/trolley/wheelbarrow race in fancy dress that we are holding at the Woodman pub in Wild Hill just outside Essendon (AL9 6EA) on Sunday the 5th October around 1pm. As well as the race there will be a BBQ, auction of pledges and sporting/music memorabilia and the bar will be open all afternoon. It should be a fun day!
